Lawrence Semiconductor is a privately owned, U.S.-based advanced semiconductor materials and specialty foundry company headquartered in Tempe, Arizona. We provide custom Group IV materials and chemical vapor deposition (CVD) epitaxial wafer manufacturing services supporting our partners from research and development through high-volume production.
Founded in 1992, Lawrence Semiconductor brings more than three decades of experience in epitaxial materials, process development, and production manufacturing. Our capabilities support engineered layer structures that are critical to device performance and manufacturability across a broad range of semiconductor technology platforms, including silicon photonics and optoelectronics, infrared sensing, MEMS-based inertial and sensing systems, advanced logic and analog devices, power electronics, and quantum technologies.
Our operations are supported by an experienced technical team and a production-qualified manufacturing infrastructure, enabling repeatable, high-volume wafer production, rapid engineering feedback, and sustained manufacturing performance.

Our manufacturing team uses Statistical Process Controls (SPCs) to develop and produce the highest quality epitaxial wafers, with implementation of continuous improvement processes to exceed customer defined specifications and yields.
