The Process Technician (Night Shift) supports safe, efficient semiconductor manufacturing operations and consistent, high-quality production output. Working closely with engineers, production, and maintenance teams, this role focuses on operating and monitoring production equipment, following detailed procedures, and supporting process improvement activities.

Role details

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production equipment used to grow semiconductor materials.
  • Record and verify process data to ensure product quality and consistency.
  • Follow detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and cleanroom protocols.
  • Assist engineers with experiments, trials, and process improvement activities.
  • Report equipment or facility issues promptly and coordinate with maintenance teams for resolution.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and support cleanroom operation standards.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules and quality targets.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow step-by-step technical instructions.
  • Good problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Basic computer and data-entry skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work safely in a cleanroom environment.
  • Vision correctable to 20/20.
  • Reliable transportation and strong commitment to punctuality and safety.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in semiconductor or manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom procedures and/or production equipment operation.
  • Interest in developing skills in process technology and production support.
