Requirements of Position
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual preventive maintenance on reactors and supporting equipment, including chillers and chemical wet benches
- Conduct facility maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep as needed
- Maintain accurate inventory of reactor and cleanroom equipment parts (O-rings, susceptors, valves, etc.)
- Execute reactor conversions and bottle changes according to company standards
- Collaborate with process technicians and engineers to ensure quality processing and timely delivery
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment performance issues promptly
- Keep the Facilities & Maintenance Manager informed on parts and consumable inventories
- Comply with all company safety and environmental regulations
- Report any breakage or damage to company property immediately
- Maintain a neat and organized work area, including office, gray room, cleanroom, and toolboxes
- Communicate supply needs to the Facilities & Maintenance Manager
- Write and follow approved standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Adhere to the company’s quality control system, ensuring all products meet customer schedule and quality expectations
- Follow all safety procedures and report concerns immediately
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the company’s quality system and procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Strong technical aptitude and keen attention to detail
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and adapt to changing tasks
- Able to stand for up to 12 hours per shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English
Preferred Skills
- Minimum of two (2) years of mechanical experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
