Key Responsibilities
- Manage the company’s finance function and ensure financial reports are accurate, complete, and delivered on schedule.
- Prepare financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support financial planning and accountability.
- Develop and maintain financial models supporting operational planning, capital investments, and long-term strategy.
- Build and maintain cost accounting models for semiconductor manufacturing operations, including tool utilization, labor, materials, and overhead allocation.
- Analyze profitability by product, process, and customer and identify margin improvement opportunities.
- Develop operational dashboards and KPIs tracking revenue, gross margin, utilization, backlog, and operating performance.
- Track R&D expenditures by project or technology platform and maintain cumulative investment records.
- Support strategic initiatives including partnerships, financings, technology commercialization, and potential acquisitions.
- Improve visibility into inventory, work-in-process (WIP), and purchasing controls.
- Implement automation and modern financial tools to improve reporting efficiency and data visibility.
- Develop automated dashboards and reporting pipelines using Excel automation, BI platforms, or other analytical tools.
- Prepare financial materials supporting discussions with investors, lenders, and strategic partners.
- Coordinate with external accounting and tax advisors as needed.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to strengthen financial and operational discipline.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- MBA in Finance or related field preferred.
- CPA or equivalent experience in financial reporting or controllership preferred.
- Minimum 5–8 years of financial management, FP&A, or cost accounting experience.
- Experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, or technology environments strongly preferred.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with ERP systems, financial planning tools, and business intelligence platforms.
- Ability to implement automation and leverage modern analytical or AI-enabled tools to improve financial workflows.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate financial analysis into actionable insights.
